or installed on my tiled roof...... ?
Why can I not have a BBC & ITV dish on my apartment balcony...... ?

1.5 or 1.8 or 1.9metre dishes should really be floor or 'flat base' mounted, but it is possible to wall mount depending on direction wall faces, wind protection and strength of wall. Anything smaller can usually be wall or roof mounted without problem. However, the 'English TV' dish will always need to face roughly south east and cannot look through walls, trees or other solid objects.

These are 1.9m wall mounts where the customers did not want
floor fixings into the roof tiles:
Anything larger than 1.9 metres has got to be floor mounted, with a
substantial pad of concrete.
So possibly a flat roof can be ok as long as it's
strong enough for the extra weight.
Our best 2.4m dish is made of a single piece (without pre-fabricated join) for highest; gain, strength, signal quality, and efficiency.
